Bentham Mayfield Road

The left picture shows one of the few remaining mill buildings by the River Wenning at High Bentham. The house opposite was a shop for a long time in the last century. The pebbledash scar shows where the frontage was sited. The picture above shows the end of Mayfield Road. Quite close to the river, this house may also originally have been a mill building.
