Beales Corner - Flooding on the east side of the bridge at the junction of the Stourport Road with the Kidderminster Road. At one point vehicles were not allowed to pass . This was not because the waters were impassable (depth was no more than a few inches) but to prevent vehicles causing a backwash which lapped into peoples houses. One Severnside South a resident put up a notice: "Its not the water that floods our houses but the fools who motor through!"
