The village school is another powerful force in generating a sense of local community. Though many children are bussed in from surrounding parts and even nearby towns, the school is looked upon as helping keep young families from moving away. The community fears for the loss of its future generations, the prospect of an elderly population or condemnation to commuter status or anonymous holiday accommodation. O.S. 37302746 |
