Watercolour

I enjoy drawing and watercolour painting as a recreation.

Here are samples of my paintings:

I was formerly a member of a group that meets at Bewdley Baptist Church. The group was started by David Goddard in January 1999. We worked under his guidance and tuition until he left for South Africa in February 2000. I am now a member of the Haworth Art Workshop which meets on Thursday afternoons at West Lane Baptist Church. I do quite a bit of copywork and enjoy Christian themes, portraiture, as well as landscapes.

This is a painting I drew and coloured in the November 1999 Thursday evening meetings. It is based on one of the mediaeval wall paintings preserved in
St. Peter & St. Paul Parish Church, Pickering -- St. Christopher. As the original is very faded the choice of colouring is entirely mine.
